We’re having our first weekend of sunshine this spring in Portland.
This is such a reason to rejoice that weather forecasters are giddy, reminding Portlanders we haven’t had two consecutive days of sun and warm temps since last fall.
As if anyone needed reminding.
We’re giving thanks all over the city, from the downtown farmer’s market (at last! fresh produce that’s dry!) to outdoor cafes.
We’re giving thanks because all the spring flowers closed tight for weeks are welcoming the sunshine with open petals.
We put our gratitude to the camera lens yesterday, in just one block near Legacy Good Samaritan Hospital (for which we give thanks every time we see that name).
