Pondering William Wordsworth …

“The world is too much with us; late and soon,
Getting and spending, we lay waste our powers …”

What do you do when the world is too much with you?

I give my self permission to … sloooooooooooow …

Went to the library for several hours of research; returned three non-fiction books; picked up two; and, on thoughtful impulse, added a novel.

The world was too much … so I set aside my research and began reading Amy Tan.

First novel I’ve read in months.

474 pages of pure, utter bliss.

… with sincere gratitude to Amy Tan and William Wordsworth
